Hey there, I’m Nikki. As an ICAO Aviation English Examiner & Instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience 'under my wings', I've had quite the journey. Let me tell you all about it.
It all started back in 2002 when I made the big move from the UK to Spain. That's where my love for languages really took off - I immersed myself in learning Spanish and soon found myself running my own bricks and mortar language school. But that was just the beginning.
You see, I was lucky enough to be able to merge my passion for languages with my enthusiasm for aviation. I became an ICAO Rater at a prestigious flight school in my city, and that's when the idea for Plane and Simple English was born. My goal? To support pilots and air traffic controllers in achieving fluency and confidence in English in an aviation context.
